Book May be Mom-to-be's Best Friend
by Amy Bertrand
St. Louis Post

Pregnant women often have many questions about their bodies, their babies and their minds. What better way to see if you are "normal" than by comparing your experience with someone else's.

Stacy Quarty, of the successful website, www.franklypregnant.com, walks you through hr second pregnancy week-by-week. No subject is left uncovered, from flatulence to weight gain. She dishes about her feelings and experiences and those of some of her girlfriends. So by the time you have read this book you've covered most topics in pregnancy, and many that the tried=and-true manuals don't talk about.

Dr Miriam Green chimes in from time to time to offer medical expertise on some of the topics.

Quarty's honesty may surprise you, but more than likely, she's asking about stuff you've wondered about. For instance, "I officially have 12 weeks under my (tightening) belt: three months. Does this mean that I am now three months pregnant...or amid I into my four month and able to claim that I am four months pregnant?"

She eventually decides it's better for a pregnant woman's ego to be four months, so she goes with what makes her feel good. And that's the joy of this book; pregnant women will feel good after reading it because you can really feel that you are not in this alone.

Her "I don't know about you but..." attitude offers an easy style of writing that will have you reading ahead just to see what's coming next.

The book finishes up with an extensive Q&A section that includes questions from real women, no matter how embarrassing or unusual.
